| Services - Course of Technical Italian for Design |
|
| Language requirements are specified by the MIUR (Italian Ministry of Education and Research) as follows: | |
| Oriental and Middle Eastern Students: 500 hours | |
| Eastern European students: 360 hours | |
| Other Europeans: 320 hours | |
| English speaking countries: 320 hours | |
| Spanish and Portuguese students: 160 hours | |
This difference is based on the specific characteristics of each language group. We suggest our students to start studying Italian before coming to Italy, since one of the requirements to get the visa is to have studied Italian for at least a couple of months (please check the exact amount of hours requested in the Italian embassy/consulate nearest to you). However NABA provides its International students with all the tools necessary to learn Italian in the easiest and fastest way. As a matter of fact Leonardo Da Vinci school of Italian is now on campus (www.scuolaleonardo.com) and offers several course levels at special fares. What’s more, NABA offers to its International students an intensive course of technical Italian on design during the month of September which cost is included in the 1st year tuition fee. This course is compulsory for BA and certificate program students, unless the International Relations Office agrees differently for a student who already has a prooved proficiency of the Italian language. The proficiency ot the Italian language must be documented directly to the International Relations Office. Furthermore the International Relations Office strongly recommends students to attend it in order to be more prepared for the admission test which will be held in September. |
