Programs - Transfer opportunities - Admission Requirements

To be admitted to the Italian University System, therefore to NABA, students need to have completed at least 12 years of education. Students wishing to attend NABA’s Bachelor of Arts Programs will be required a high school diploma that has been awarded after at least 12 years of education. The high school diploma must be translated, legalized and be given the value declaration certificate by the Italian Embassy or Consulate in the country of origin.

If in doubt regarding the validity of the diploma, please enquire at the Italian authorities in the country of origin or contact the International Relations Office.

TRANSFER STUDENTS need to send also a copy of the portfolio (non returnable), the original high school diploma and the original university transcripts to be translated, legalized and to be given the “Value Declaration” issued by the Italian Embassy or Consulate in the student’s country of origin. Please be aware that the student’s assignment to any given year of the course is at discretion of NABA academic staff who will evaluate previous studies and the portfolio. NABA will issue a letter of pre-admission (valid for visa purposes).

Please notice that the effective admission will be notified to students upon the complete evaluation of the portfolio and of the translation, legalization and value declaration certificate of the High School Diploma and University Transcript.

The deadline for this procedure is 15th June and the effective admission will be notified by 30th June. If the request for the documents will not be satisfied by this deadline, the International Relations office will evaluate the individual case and advise the transfer student accordingly.

Foreign students are offered, without additional cost, a preparation course which lasts 4 weeks (language and technical skills), in order to facilitate the passing of the exam. Foreign students will take a test to access their knowledge of the Italian language in order to select the most appropriate course to improve their linguistic skills.
