Landscape Design – Extraordinary Landscapes

This program, developed in collaboration with Politecnico di Milano, is aimed at creating landscape designer and landscape architect professional profiles, and is addressed to students and professionals with an educational background in the areas of architecture, arts and design.
The program is intended to teach students a far-reaching methodological approach, able to bring together all the elements in play and bring them closer to the subject of nature with an eyes-open look that stems from knowledge, comparison and experience, without any historicist or ideological prejudice, before implementing all possible planning actions relating to the land area.
Such working methodology can be applied in any professional field where the landscape subject is the centre of the project.

The following subjects will be investigated in depth: borders - geographies, observation – representation, project subjects – piece of Art, habitat: suburbs – centre. Duration: 15 months as a whole (May-July 2008, May-July 2009).
Educational credits: 60.
Starting date: May.
Directors: Elisabetta Bianchessi, Paolo Mestriner.
