As all the teaching at NABA is in the Italian Language, prospective students are required to have studied Italian for specific amount of hours. The number of hours studied depends on the student's nationality. This is an official request from NABA in order to facilitate the academic development of new foreign students. Learning the language before enrolling is important academically and socially, making easier for students to adapt to their new life in Milan. An intensive technical italian course will be offered by NABA to all new foreign students before the orientation exam, so specific vocabulary regarding design, fashion, graphic design, media design, theatre design and visual arts will be taught, but bare in mind that this course alone is not enough for anyone to learn italian.
More Information regarding the number of hours to be studied is available inside the application form.
NABA works with the Leonardo Da Vinci school of Italian, who has campuses in Milan, Rome, Florence, and Siena. Please, feel free to contact them for any further information in regard to learning Italian in Italy.
